Essential Oils Recipes, Spiritual Thoughts

Dishwasher Detergent

It’s been a crazy week for us here at the Moyer house.  Our Easter Passion Mime is coming to a close with our performances just days away!  If you haven’t seen it, here is a link to some of our past mimes.  If you would like to see it this year, you can go to Grace Baptist Church’s Facebook page and you will find the invites to all three nights there with all the details you need.  It’s truly an amazing production, and a great way to share the Gospel in a different way.  The team put a lot of time into this, and it’s totally worth watching!

In other news, Kaylee turned 10 months today!  We’ve been adjusting to Daylight Savings, so a cute picture didn’t happen today.  ='( But I’ll make up for that tomorrow!  She’s moving as crazy as ever, and is super curious about anything new around her.  She loves people, and watching new faces.  I honestly haven’t found one person yet that she didn’t like!  (unless she’s hungry or tired…then it’s all Mommy)  ^___^

This week in my list of oily to-dos I found a recipe that I am super excited to share with you all!  It’s for a Dishwasher Powder Detergent.  I personally haven’t had a problem with the dried pads that you put in the wash, but when I saw this I thought “That’s pretty super cheap, and I have all that anyway!  I’ll give it a try!)  It smells really good and clean too!  The Lemon EO really helps out there.

Here’s what you need:

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir. Store in jar in a dark, cool place to preserve essential oil potency.  Mine ended up under the sink for right now.

To use: Add 1 tablespoon to dishwasher. Add 1/2 cup vinegar into the rinsing agent area before starting. Run as normal.

Note: If you have any buildup after washing your dishes, try substituting 1/3 cup of the washing soda with citric acid.

Lemon is just amazing stuff!  I keep finding more and more to do with my Lemon EO, so this was pretty cool to add one more thing to the list for me!

It’s just so refreshing!

There you have it!  Another natural product you can make at home!  Enjoy your toxin-free clean dishes!

Lastly on my weekly update, here’s my song list:

  • 28-More Than Conquerors by Rend Collective
  • 29-It’s Your Grace by Sovereign Grace

  • 31-I Have a Shelter by Sovereign Grace
  • 32-Stronger by Hillsong United
  • 33-Once and For All by Lauren Daigle

Have a blessed week everyone!  Keep striving and thriving in all areas of your well-being.  Love you all.
